(10:55) SALINAS-Salinas police are investigating the city’s 40th homicide of the year. Authorities say that shortly before 7 a.m., Christmas morning, officers responding to a report of a suspicious vehicle on the 1100 block of Kimmel Street found the body of a 49 year old male. The victim suffered traumatic injury and is believed to have been moved to the location in the vehicle. Anyone with any information is encouraged to contact Salinas police.
