(06:20) Salinas – A Salinas good Samaritan has lost his battle with cancer. Victor Worden was honored in September by the Salinas City Council after he responded to a social media post about a stolen car that had a 22-month-old boy inside. Worden searched his neighborhood and found the boy sleeping inside the car behind a rite Aid store on Williams Road. About a month ago a GoFundMe page was set up by Worden’s two daughters to help pay for his stage 4 colon cancer medical expenses. Worden lost his battle to cancer and passed away yesterday.
