More than 20 “8-person tents” are being set up for inmates that need to be isolated or quarantined at the Correctional Training Facility in Soledad. 2 gyms, 2 chapels and 2 housing units will also be used to assist those sickened by the virus. That’s because there are now more than 700 inmates, and 60 employees, there who have tested positive for Covid-19. 6 CTF inmates have died so far.
In-person visitation was suspended in March, and video visitation began this weekend.
