California State University Monterey Bay is bringing a transportation alternative to driving or bus.
A company called “Spin” is offering electric scooter rentals for C.S.U.M.B students.
These scooters will only work on the C.S.U.M.B campus, and will shut off if they are transported away from the perimeter.
On Tuesday morning, representatives from Spin will provide safety training and free helmets for students interested in trying out the new scooters.
The safety training takes place from 9 AM to 11 AM on campus.
