A brief Coronavirus/Covid-19 update for the Tri-County area includes:
- A 2nd confirmed case if the virus in Santa Cruz county.
- The suspected case at Hartnell College was not confirmed, so there are still no known cases in Monterey county.
- In an abundance of caution:
Administrators at Gavilan College have cancelled (or postponed) all events, including outside use of campus facilities, all cosmetology services for the public through the end of this month….and although athletic games will continue, no public spectators will be allowed to attend those games. Non-essential employee travel: all non-essential travel for employees is suspended until the end of March.
- The San Benito county residents who had Covid-19 have fully recovered.
