The case of the man, accused of attacking a woman near the Santa Cruz Town Clock, has been suspended, pending a behavioral health evaluation. That’s because 41 year-old Daisuke Muro has been deemed mentally incompetent. The charges against Muro are on hold until his ability to stand trial is assessed. Muro’s Competency Hearing is scheduled to take place in a Santa Cruz County Court room June 25th.
