Highway one motorists in Carmel will get a reprieve from the roadwork on the highway one “climbing lane.” Caltrans says that in anticipation of the storm this week there won’t be any construction today thru Wednesday, march 27… and caltrans workers will be absent on Friday as well.
Basically… there will be work only on Thursday this week and crews will be removing the mast on traffic light signal that was found to be mal-functioning. And the men and women will be working in the cone zone on Saturday… enforcing traffic control overnight.
