CENTRAL COAST – A possible health care merger could change health care delivery for people on the central coast. The merger is between the Salinas Valley Memorial Healthcare System and the Montage Health (previously known at the Community Hospital Of The Monterey Peninsula). The merger is scheduled to be voted on by Salinas Valley Memorial’s Board this afternoon, while C-H-O-M-P ‘s board plans to vote on it next Thursday.
