(13:20) MONTEREY- The National Weather Service has issued a freeze alert for the Central Coast. Over the next several days, overnight temperatures may drop into the freezing range. Residents are advised to bring pets indoors ore provide protection from the cold. Also to cover temperature sensitive plants as well as water pipes from freezing.
