The Santa Clara County Sheriff’s office concealed weapons permit process is under criminal investigation. The permit issuing process is being investigated after alleged improprieties by the sheriff’s office. The investigation was started after it was alleged a businessman was issued a concealed gun permit after making a 90 thousand dollar donation to insure the permit process was finalized.
