Big Sur Kate is reporting that the forward progress of yesterday afternoon’s Carmel Fire was halted at 6-8 acres. The wildfire broke out in the Chews Ridge area, not far from White Oaks Campground (off Tassajara). More information can be found on-line on the WatchDuty App, or at WatchDuty.org
