A fire in Carmel has left the residence in habitable. The incident took place at 4 p-m on Saturday, when crews responded to reports of a structure fire at 2nd and San Antonio Avenues. At the scene fire crews found that a fire had spread from the chimney to the attic of the dwelling. The fire was quickly extinguished however the damage to the residence is described as extensive.
