Police arrested 2 people who ignored beach closure notices on Friday. 59 year old Jay Endsley of Santa Clara, is accused of ignoring multiple warnings from officers. Endsley then physically fought with officers during the arrest. Also arrested was 54-year-old Theresa Buccola of Carmel who was with Endsley on the beach. Endsley was charged with resisting arrest and knowingly not leaving a closed area after receiving notice.
