A car auction broke the 2014 Monterey Car Week record of 38 million dollars on Saturday night. A 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO, one of 38 made, sold for 44 million dollars at the RM Sotheby’s auction at the Monterey Conference Center. The car had been expected to sell for between 45 and 60 million dollars.
