The public’s assistance is being sought in connection with the recent rash of a person or people stealing clippings from Camelia bushes in the La Selva Beach area. 4 such thefts have taken place the Playa Boulevard area in the last couple weeks. Camelia plants are very slow-growing and valuable. Anyone with information about these thefts is encouraged to contact the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Department.
