Vaccine Eligibility is being standardized state-wide. In an effort to reduce confusion, starting on Monday, March 1st, the California Department Of Public Health and Blue Shield will move to a single standard….that will apply to all providers and local health jurisdictions. 70% of doses will be for people aged 65 and older; 20% for people working in emergency services, or food and agriculture; and 10% for those working in education and childcare.
The CDPH said the allocation applies to first doses only. Second doses will be sent to the provider who gave the first dose.
