The winners have been announced for this weekend’s charity “bras for a cause” event. The event was hosted by the capitola Soroptimists, and featured a live and silent auction of home-made bras. The money will be given to a variety of local women’s and girls’ charities and organizations. The first prize went to terri ryan, for her “Rock on Bra”, which was made from molded cement and rock. (She won 150-dollars.) Second place went to peter larson, and stacy smith took 3rd place.There were also other categories, including “most creative use of materials.” That title went to Norm Wobschall, who used abalone shells.
