A Santa Cruz man’s body was found washed ashore yesterday at New Brighton State Beach. Reportedly 22 year-old Ricardo Picco and 2 friends were visiting the bluffs above the beach Monday, when he walked away from them. Based on what investigators found, they believe that Picco accidentally fell to the surface below. Anyone with more information is encouraged to contact the Capitola Police Department.
