Big Sur has been hard hit by this winter’s storms, but the Big Sur International Marathon will still be held this Sunday, April 30th. Because of road closures and the demolition of the Pfeifer Canyon Bridge, there are some changes from past years. This year runners will be dropped off at the Big Sur Lodge instead of Big Sur Station. The Expo, which will be smaller this year, will be held in the ballroom at the Portola Hotel. The Marathon Village will, for the first time, have a beer garden. The Expo opens noon Friday, where racers will pick up their bibs
