BIG SUR ACCIDENT FELONY CHARGES 11-17-10 13:00 a.v.

The driver and 2 passengers of a Big Sur accident, which caused a woman to be paralyzed, face multiple felony charges. 30-year old Myles Goldman Lerner, the driver of the November 1st crash, appeared for the 1st time in court yesterday. He is expected to enter a plea Friday. He is charged with felony hit-and-run driving causing serious injury or death, reckless driving with injury and hit-and-run-driving. Meanwhile 28-year old Vanessa Hacker and 26-year old Joseph McEvoy are slated to be arraigned November 30th on charges of being accessories after the fact of hit-and-run driving that caused serious injury.

The incident caused local photographer and gallery owner, 28-year old Rachel Short, to be paralyzed from the neck down.
