Highway 101 south of Highway 25 was closed for a while this afternoon. That after a big-rig caught fire around 3:30 p.m., and that fire spread to grass, trees, and the bridge. Firefighters put out the blaze, and the integrity of the bridge was checked before Highway 101 re-opened to traffic just before 7 p.m.
