(08:00) Cal Fire reported this morning that the Bear Fire (burning in the Santa Cruz Mountains) is expected to be fully contained on Thursday. The Bear Fire is currently 391 acres and 85 percent contained. All evacuation orders have been lifted. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Due to critical weather conditions and fire activity, all Bay Area Cal Fire Units, including the San Mateo‐Santa Cruz Unit implemented a burn suspension banning all outdoor burning. This order is made under the authority vested by the Director of the Department of Forestry and Fire Protection.
