It’s going to be a great weekend weather-wise for the beach but keep in you must abide by the new rules which are:
Beaches will be off limits for all activities between the hours of 11-am to 5-pm,.
Walking on the beach is okay but no sunbathing or lounging and you may get in the water for exercise activities…. Like surfing or swimming.
The order was put in place after last weekend when hundreds of out-of-towners flocked to local beaches. The new order will remain in place until revised by the Santa Cruz County Health Officer.
