(20:44) SANTA CRUZ COUNTY – It seems likely that the f-a-a will create a new flight path over Santa Cruz county, but it probably won’t happen for at least another year-and-a-half. It’ll take that long to change the flight path because the Controlled Airspace Boundaries surrounding the airport will have to be changed first. The changes to the flight path are being addressed because there have been a million complaints since March of 2015 when the flight path was changed to the current one. The flight path before that only received a few complaints over the 30 years it was in place. The location of the new flight path has yet to be decided, but the style of approach is expected to be a lot quieter.
