(11:30) Monterey – A Soberanes Fire relief benefit was held at the Monterey Bay Aquarium Sunday evening and raised around $35,000. The event featured live music and food and drinks provided by dozens of chefs and produce companies from throughout Monterey County. Ken Peterson, communications director for the Monterey Bay Aquarium said people came out to show their support for the people who have lost their homes and livelihoods. All proceeds from the event will go to the Soberanes Fire Fund, which supports the agencies helping fire victims through the Community Foundation for Monterey County.
