(11:05) Watsonville – An 18 year old Watsonville man was arrested for possession of a loaded, concealed and unregistered pistol on Main Street in Watsonville Sunday. At 10:50 P.M. an officer stopped a vehicle for driving without headlights near the entrance of Ramsay Park. The officer noticed several open containers of alcohol inside. Passenger, Ivan Ruelas, resisted arrested after the officer found the loaded, pistol in the waistband of his pants. Ruelas was charged with possession of a loaded, concealed firearm, possession of an unregistered firearm and resisting arrest. He was booked into the Santa Cruz County Jail (and is held in lieu of $5,000 bail). The driver of the vehicle was arrested for DUI and two other passengers were cited and released for being in possession of open alcoholic containers in a vehicle.
