(06:00) Monterey – The Soberanes Fire that has been burning in Big Sur since July 22, is now 87,16 acres and is still 60 percent contained. The fire began to due to an illegal camp fire and has destroyed 57 homes and 410 remain threatened. Evacuation orders remain in effect from mile Marker 1.5 to Marble Peak at the end of the road. Cal Fire has reported the expected date for full containment is September 30.
