August 24, 2015: Reward for 2014 Watsonville Shooting Suspect

(18:13) WATSONVILLE – The FBI has announced a $20,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of a shooting suspect. Marcos Daniel Robles is wanted for his alleged involvement in the 2014 shooting that killed a 4-year-old girl. Just before midnight on Oct. 10, Robles allegedly shot and killed a rival gang member in a motel parking lot. Some of the rounds fired went into a nearby restaurant, where they struck and killed 4-year-old Jaelyn Zavala and wounded an innocent man. Robles has been charged with two counts of murder and a warrant has been issued for his arrest by Santa Cruz County Superior Court. A federal arrest warrant has also been issued after he was charged with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution. Robles is a known Norteno gang member that may have fled to Mexico and he is considered armed and dangerous.
