(08:45) KING CITY- The Monterey County Sheriff’s office has stopped supplemental patrols of King City. The Sheriff’s deputies have been patrolling along side the city’s police force as the department dealt with internal arrests and finding a new police chief. Originally deputies were to continue patrols until September 4th but have ended early citing a lack of resources. King City’s new police chief said the department is ready and he will assist in patrols when necessary.
