(08:50) Santa Cruz – A man was hospitalized after a drug deal went bad on Saturday in Santa Cruz. The incident took place around 4:30 p.m. on Soquel and Riverside Avenues. Witnesses reported that two men got into a knife fight after 1 of them refused to pay for the drugs. Arriving officer’s tased one of the men multiple times, after he resisted arrest. He was transported to an area hospital.
