The Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s office is investigating an attempted kidnapping. Authorities say that on Saturday at about 4 p.m. a the intended victim, a 27 year old woman, was grabbed from behind as she was loading the trunk of her car following a family gathering at Pinto Lake near Watsonville. The woman was able to break free. The attaker then fled the area in a light blue mid 90’s Honda. A sketch of the suspect can be viewed at: facebook.com/ksco am 1080.
