Arson is thought to have been the cause of a fire that burned a vacant house in Salinas thursday night. The Orchard Avenue structure was fully engulfed in flames by the time firefighters arrived on the scene. Several neighboring structures were evacuated, until firefighters got control of the blaze. Anyone with any information about who may have set this fire is encouraged to contact the Salinas Police Department.
