The Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s office has reported that a butane honey oil lab was discovered and dismantled in Aptos. On August 7th deputies responded to the 1000 block of Cathedral Drive to reports of a suspicious vehicle being loaded with bags containing a large amount of Marijuana. At the scene officers discovered an illegal drug lab. The butane labs have been responsible for several explosions and fires in the area. The lab was dismantled and charges are probable.
