(16:14) SANTA CRUZ- A groundbreaking ceremony for a Live Oak affordable housing project for seniors took place on Friday. At the groundbreaking Santa Cruz County officials met with leaders from Saint Stephan’s Lutheran Church. The idea for the 40 unit complex originated in the church after several senior citizen members became homeless. The homes will be built by a non-profit developer on church property. The project is expected to be complete by May of 2017.
