(11:27) SALINAS- The Salinas Police Department conducted a prostitution sting last week. Authorities say that five men were arrested on Thursday after attempting to solicit sex from under cover officers posing as prostitutes. The operation was the first to be conducted since the department shifted its focus from prostitutes to johns in an attempt to curb the demand in the city’s illegal sex trade. The five men were released after being issued a citation for a court appearance.
