(12:35) MORGAN HILL- Defense lawyers for accused murderer Antolin Garcia-Torres requested delay in proceedings.The potential death sentence case was to go to trial today (Monday). Garcia-Torres is alleged to have kidnapped and murdered 15 year old Sierra LaMar as she was headed to school in Morgan Hill four years ago. Recently Garcia-Torres rescinded his wavier of right to a speedy trial, prompting defense counsel to ask for the delay in order to prepare. The trial will be put on hold for 60 days.
