A man traveling on an Amtrak train north of King City last night, was arrested for sexually assaulting a female passenger. 30-year old Andrew Louis Ybarra from Moreno Valley solicited sex acts from the woman around 9:35 p.m. before following her to the lower compartment of the train where she refused him. Ybarra then grabbed the woman from behind and trapped her hands, while attempting to sexually assault. The victim was able break free and run. Ybarra was turned over the Monterey County Sheriff’s Office where he was arrested on suspicion of sexual battery, battery on a train and attempted rape.
