NATIONWIDE – AAA expects the number of people traveling this Thanksgiving weekend to be the highest in 9 years. That’s due to the improved economy. As usual, the heaviest days are expected to be Wednesday and Sunday for those traveling by air, and Thursday and Sunday for those driving to their destinations. 48.7 million people are expected to be on the move in the u-s over the holiday weekend.
