A Santa Cruz man was airlifted to a bay area trauma center after a solo bicycle wreck. At about 3:10 p.m. yesterday (Thursday) emergency crews arrived to the site of a solo bicycle crash near Bay and King Streets to find a man with life threatening injuries. The victim was transported to Dominican hospital where a helicopter flew the man to Santa Clara County Hospital.
