A King City woman was the victim of a shooting Saturday. Authorities say that shortly after 9 p.m. patrol units responded to the 400 block of Division Street to reports of a shooting. On scene officers located a female victim with a bullet wound to the upper leg. Multiple shell casings were recovered outside of the victim’s residence, from where several people were seen fleeing in the direction of King City Park. The victim was transported to a Salinas trauma center. Anyone with ny information is encouraged to contact King City police.
