A pedestrian was declared dead at the scene of this morning’s fatal vehicle-pedestrian accident in Salinas. The 7 a.m. incident took place at the intersection of Kimmel Street and North Sanborn Road. The driver remained at the scene. Anyone who witnessed this accident is encouraged to contact the Salinas Police Department.
