Adopt a Park? 12/30/17B 12:56 S.S.

A  Ben  Lomond  resident  wants  to  adopt  a  city-owned  park.     Back  in  2009,   Santa  Cruz  shut  down  the  10-acre  park  (known  as  the  Sycamore  Grove  Nature  Area)  due  to  rampant  drug  use  there.   The  site,  which  is  in  the  southern  portion  of  the  Pogonip,   near  Highway  9,  includes  the  state’s  northernmost  stand  of  Central Coast Cottonwood-Sycamore trees.
