SANTA CRUZ – A case of “hate speech” is being investigated in connection with graffiti left on the front of the Santa Cruz County Building late last week. The phrases, that were etched in black at 701 Ocean Street, were about 6 inches tall, and reportedly targeted Jews and tran-sexuals. Anyone with any information on this case is encouraged to contact the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office.
