(06:45) A 4.1 magnitude earthquake hit the San Jose area yesterday. The earthquake hit just before 6:00 p.m. and was centered about 8 miles southeast of the Alum Rock area of San Jose. People reported feeling the quake as far as Santa Cruz and Monterey Counties. There have been no reports of any damage or injuries.
