A benefit event in Monterey, which celebrates Rock and Roll music, and classic cars & trucks, is now expected to be held in June. The 14th annual Rock & Rod Festival is scheduled to be held June 18th and 19th. Money raised by this event will be used to help support the Gateway Center Of Monterey County, which serves adults with intellectual disabilities in Monterey County.
It starts with a Sock Hop at the General Stilwell Community Center in Seaside that Friday night, and continues with the Rock and Rod on Saturday, at the Custom House Plaza in downtown Monterey (near Fisherman’s Wharf).
