Monologue

Dr. Joel Wallach begins the show discussing the importance of “do-it-yourself” healthcare. Outlining several health tests that can be done cheaply and safely at home. Contending this way if a health challenge is discovered people can deal with it without it being on their permanent record. Avoiding increases in health insurance premiums.

Pearls of Wisdom

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article about a study of stethoscopes. The medical tools were tested in an ICU finding all were covered in bacteria. Most had Staphylococcus on them ever after they were cleaned. Doc asserts this is because healthcare professionals are not washing their hands after going to the bathroom.
