(20:12) MONTEREY PENINSULA – It’s Car Week 2016 on the Monterey Peninsula, and there have been some changes made. The plan is to try and keep the 85,000 people (expected to come into the area for Car Week) from getting in the way of the firefighters battling the more than 74,000 acre Soberanes Fire. The route for the Pebble Beach Tour D’Elegance has been shortened, (so it won’t go down the Big Sur Coast)…..and “no parking” signs have also been put up near the Firefighter Post on Carmel Valley Road. Car Week 2016 runs through this coming Sunday.
