A woman driver died in a crash in Marina earlier today (Tuesday).
The California Highway Patrol said a Chevy Blazer was heading north on the highway and swerved to avoid a small couch in the fast lane.
The vehicle hit a guardrail and the driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected.
There was also a service dog in the vehicle with her, but it is doing well and was taken to an animal shelter.
