The Dolan Fire, in Monterey County, has burned over 73,000 acres and is at 40% containment. Several firefighters who were working to protect the Los Padres National Forest Nacimiento station ended up trapped, resulting in 3 injuries, one of which are critical.
Meanwhile, the CZU August Lightning Complex Fire has 83% containment with over 86,000 acres burned.
Victims of the Dolan fire can go to the King City Library, providing resources on how to find shelter, free internet to get in touch with loved ones, water, snacks, personal device charging, and additional disaster recovery information, open from 10 AM to 6 PM.
For those affected by the CZU Lightning Complex Fire, the Santa Cruz Warriors Stadium on Front Street and Pescadaro Elementary School in San Mateo County remain open as resource centers.
