(08:00) Monterey – The 8th Annual Whalefest in Monterey is scheduled to take place this weekend. The two-day festival celebrates the migration of the gray whales returning back to the Monterey Bay. The event will have educational activities and food. The party will begin tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. at Old Fisherman’s Wharf and go until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.
